Dukan Diet


 
Dukan Diet is booming today. Diet was first introduced by Dr. Pierre Dukan diet is considered the most successful in France. Dr Pierre Dukan introduced 'Dukan Diet' through his book entitled 'The Dukan Diet'. His book became a best seller in France.

Dukan Diet that supposedly carried out by Kate Middleton is proven to reduce the weight of artists such as Jennifer Lopez and super model Gisele Bundchen soon after giving birth.


Dukan diet is basically a diet high in protein, low in fat and carbohydrates. Dukan diet consists of 4 phases eating differently that follow one another. Beginning with rapid weight loss, resulting in a simple meal arrangements, structured, and valid in the long term, also make sure you will not get back the weight that has been lost.Here are the four phases of Dukan Diet and sample menu:

1. Phase Attack
In this phase is only recommended to eat foods that contain protein alone, for example, that red meat, poultry, fish, seafood, and low-fat milk. This phase lasts for 3-10 days according your targets respectively. Balance with drinking water as much as 3 liters every day. This kind of diet can decrease your appetite and maintain muscle shape and smoothness of your skin.
Examples of diet on the attack phase:* Breakfast: coffee or tea without sugar, yogurt, and 1 slice of turkey bacon or pancakes.* Lunch: satay clams, crab, 1 turkey escalope, and one serving of fromage frais or a pancake.* Dinner: chicken liver or an egg, fish or shellfish, and yogurt.

2. Phase Cruise
Phrases cruise basically the same as the attack phase, only gradually add the vegetable protein.There should be no food containing carbohydrates. Perform this phase in turns until you reach the desired weight (weight loss up to 1kg a week). You can start the meal with a salad or soup, followed by meat or fish sauteed with vegetables. The weight will drop about 900gram week.
3. The Phase Consolidation 
After reaching the desired weight, you need to return to a normal diet as late as possible to avoid the yo-yo effect that sucks. You can come back to eat the foods you avoid (such as rice, bread, pasta, cheese) gradually.Each 1kg weight reduction did 10 days of consolidation. It aims to prevent you to go back to old habits and adjust the balance with your new body.
4. Phase Stabilization
When the consolidation phase passed, the weight will start to stabilize. Therefore you are free to eat and drink what you like.You may eat normally by applying two rules :
* Set one day a week to eat pure protein (recommended Thursday) lifetime.* Eat three tablespoons of oats and oat bran every day.
